Mia Thornton
Mia Thornton is a Multi-Clinic Franchise Owner, Regional Developer, and Marketing executive for The Joint Chiropractic. She is also a former Multi-Unit Franchise owner for Massage Envy Spas and launched a boutique e-commerce store Amilleon London. After spending nearly a decade working in Franchise marketing for multimillion-dollar brands, Mia knows what truly drives conversions, sold-out marketplaces, managing successful start-up brands, and multi-unit development. She continues to work with executives and solopreneurs to grow their investment portfolios by partnering with proven concepts.  Mia launched her career after receiving her certification in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy from the Southeastern Institute of Charlotte. After graduation, Mia launched her career as a Clinic Director in Charlotte, North Carolina, which eventually led to a five-year partnership with a prominent Fortune 500 company and ownership. The expanded success of the company allowed her to develop The Joint Chiropractic Doctor Offices across the North East Region to include North Carolina, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and New York.   Mia joined the ladies of The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 6 — which led to being featured on "The Real" daytime television show and editorial print collaboration with "Telfar" featured in the July 2021 issue of "InStyle" magazine. She will continue to film and most recently wrapped Season 7.   In addition to her executive PR and marketing experience, Mia is a trained business consultant. Mia currently resides in Maryland with her husband, Gordon Thornton, of 10 years, and three children, Joshua, Jeremiah, and Juliana. Her philanthropic passion has led her and Gordon to serve on the board and sponsor families of the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte. She is also a proud sponsor of A Better World, UNCF, Autism Speaks, A Child's Place, Elizabeth City State University, St. Jude, and CASADC.org.
